Crossroads Autism Network’s (C.A.N.) mission is Community, Awareness and a Network for Autism! This organization is dedicated to bringing awareness excellence in maintaining a commitment in serving the needs of families with children of all ages on the Autism Spectrum in the Crossroads area.
Crossroads Autism Network (C.A.N) is a 501 c 3 non profit organization that was founded in 2013 in honor of Logan.
Logan is a beautiful blue-eyed angel who has a disease called Tuberous Sclerosis Complex which is the leading genetic cause of Autism and Epilepsy. He suffers from self-injurious behavior (SIB) and was diagnosed with profound Autism. Logan is the reason my husband and I founded Crossroads Autism Network. We felt the need to offer a supportive Autism organization for this community. Over the years, we have met many amazing families who are affected by Autism. Each journey is unique, but at times our paths intersect or run parallel to each other.
Initially, our goal was to host an annual walk/family day where everyone affected by Autism could come together for awareness and fellowship. Thanks to the continued generosity of our community, we have been able to sponsor families with assistance for horseback riding therapy, private swim lessons, Hippotherapy, sibling fun nights, and family fun nights at Hangtime Trampoline Park.
We are so proud of this amazing group of people, and we are truly honored to be a part of such a supportive community!
